In the present invention, an in-vehicle terminal transmits speech to a relay server as a voice signal, and the relay server is provided with: a voice recognition unit for converting the received voice signal into a character string; and a control unit for retrieving information stored in a main database or in a temporary storage database using the character string, transmitting the retrieval result to the in-vehicle terminal, and storing the retrieval result in the temporary storage database when information stored in the main database is retrieved. If the retrieval result is stored in the temporary storage database when the voice signal is received, the control unit retrieves the information stored in the temporary storage database using the character string converted from the received voice signal; and, if the retrieval result is not stored in the temporary storage database, the control unit retrieves the information stored in the main database using the character string. |
