The present invention addresses the problem of developing a prefilled syringe using a "silicone rubber" which is capable of achieving sufficient "slidability," without losing "rubber elasticity" for ensuring "sealing properties," and which also achieves high "water-vapour impermeability." This prefilled syringe (A) is characterized by being formed from: a syringe barrel (1) which has the interior thereof filled with a drug solution (30); a gasket (10) which is press-fitted into the syringe barrel (1); and a plunger rod (5) which is attached to the gasket (10). The gasket (10) is formed from a thermosetting resin exhibiting drug-solution resistance to the drug solution (30) with which the syringe barrel (1) is filled. A recessed groove (18) is formed along the entire periphery of a sliding contact surface (11) of a main body section (26) which slides along the inner peripheral surface (2) of the syringe barrel (1). A sliding contact ring (19), which is fitted into the recessed groove (18), and which slides along the inner peripheral surface (2) of the syringe barrel, is obtained by adding, to a silicone rubber base material, a silicone oil, and a spherical ultra-high-molecular-weight fine powder. |
