The invention relates to a method and a thermal imaging recording device for the treatment of raw images (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) for generating radiometric images, wherein a sequence of raw images composed of pixels are recorded in a non-visible spectral range and radiometric images are calculated on the basis of said sequence of raw images. According to the invention, high-resolution points and/or regions are calculated at least for partial regions of the radiometric images, wherein, in a first step, an edge contrast enhancement is automatically calculated for at least one raw image from the sequence and, in a second step, at least one point or region of interest of the at least one raw image which has been modified during the first step by edge contrast enhancement, is/are identified and wherein, in a third step, first radiometric values and then the image, which is highly resolved in partial areas, are automatically calculated for the at least one point or region of interest identified in the second step. |
