PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive high-speed digital communication system and radio equipment that bring together many narrow bandwidth frequency bands to obtain a substantially broad bandwidth frequency band and are less affected by noise, disturbing waves and the like.SOLUTION: Each of multiple narrow bandwidth frequency bands is divided into multiple channels having the same exclusive bandwidth, and two or three of the multiple channels are treated as forming one group. By hopping the frequency in each of such groups and varying the period of switching in many ways, baseband circuits having several times as many as the channels are provided. On the transmitting side, digital input signals are converted into parallel signals in the total number of baseband circuits, and each individual baseband circuit is modulated and outputted. On the receiving side, reception is done group by group; in the group, signals synchronized with the switched periods are demodulated in each individual baseband circuit; the signals are decoded and outputted as parallel signals in the same sequence as on the transmitting side; and the parallel signals are converted into serial signals, which are outputted as high-speed data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
