PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To parallelize calculation processing of a QP estimated value to improve the efficiency of block line parallel processing.SOLUTION: When processing block lines of N pieces, which indicate two or more values, each time in parallel processing, a horizontal position of a K-1st processing block of the block line is set in a timing of at least one or more blocks ahead of a horizontal position of a K-th processing block of the block line. When the processing block is the head in the block line, a quantization parameter of a block having been processed in the parallel processing, or a quantization parameter of a block processed just before the processing block with a quantization parameter determined with a slice to which the processing block belongs being a unit, is initialized. An estimation value of the quantization parameter of the processing block is calculated on the basis of the initialized quantization parameter. When the processing block is one other than the head in the block line, the estimation value of the quantization parameter of the processing block is calculated on the basis of the quantization parameter of the block in which encoding has been completed ahead in the block line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
