PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system having reduced power consumption and high quality.SOLUTION: A memory system 10 includes: a nonvolatile memory 13; a thermoelectric element 17 that generates electric power by using heat; a capacitor 16 that is used as a backup power supply; and a power supply controller 15 that charges the capacitor 16 by using the electric power generated by the thermoelectric element 17. A memory system includes: a nonvolatile memory; a radio circuit that performs radio communication with an external device; a memory controller 12 that writes, to the nonvolatile memory, write data which is transmitted from a host and writes the write data to the external device via the radio circuit; and an ECC circuit that corrects errors in the read data which is read from the nonvolatile memory. If the memory controller cannot correct the errors in the read data from the nonvolatile memory, it reads data from the external device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
