PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 2 which is improved in a grip force while suppressing the lowering of high-speed durability.SOLUTION: A belt 14 of a tire 2 comprises a main belt 36, an under belt 38 and a pair of edge belts 40. The edge belts 40 are folded toward the outside from the inside of a radial direction around an end 46 of the main belt 36. One end 48 of the edge belt 40 is located outside an axial direction rather than an end 66 of the under belt 38. The main belt 36 includes a main cord 52, and a material of the main cord 52 is steel. The under belt 38 includes an under cord 56, and a material of the under cord 56 is steel. The edge belt 40 includes an edge cord 60, and the edge cord 60 is composed of organic fibers. A cross section area of the main cord 52 is not larger than 0.04 mm, and not smaller than 0.20 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
