PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that includes a nip forming member that has a slide sheet appropriately fastened thereto and can be arranged in a unit with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A fixing device includes a fixing belt, a pressure roller, a nip forming member 26 that is composed of a main body 26a and a film member 29 wound around the main body 26a and is brought into contact with the pressure roller with the fixing belt therebetween to form a nip part, a reinforcement member that supports the nip forming member 26 from the opposite side to the nip part, a support member that supports the rotation of the fixing belt from the inner peripheral side of the fixing belt, and heating means for heating the support member. The main body 26a of the nip forming member 26 includes a plurality of support projections 26b that are arranged on the opposite side to the nip part at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction of the opposite side to be brought into contact with the reinforcement member; and the film member 29 is wound around the main body 26a while openings 29k provided in the film member 29 are fitted to the support projections 26b, and is fastened on the opposite side to the nip part of the main body 26a with fastening members 26n. |
