A sliver feeder (4) for open end spinning machines has a drawing-in cylinder (5) and a feed trough (7). The cylinder (5) has a transport collar (16) which features grooves (27) on the surface. The side surfaces (18,19) of the transport collar (16) feature a cleaning device each. The transport collar (16) runs with clearance between the cross bars (24) of the feed trough (7), which is guided tiltably and with axial clearance on a bearing axis (15). |
