PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A/D conversion circuit and an A/D conversion method that can keep a dynamic range intact while improving A/D conversion characteristics.SOLUTION: The A/D conversion circuit includes a comparison circuit 10, a control circuit 20, a first D/A conversion circuit DAC1 for D/A-converting successive comparison data, a second D/A conversion circuit DAC2 for D/A-converting code data varying with time, and a correction section 80. The comparison circuit 10 performs the process of comparing an addition signal of a sampling signal of an input signal and a code signal with a D/A output signal, or the process of comparing the sampling signal with an addition signal of the D/A output signal and the code signal, and the control circuit 20 outputs output data determined by successive comparison result data and the code data as A/D conversion data of the input signal. The correction section 80 performs a correction process of correctively preventing an overflow of the successive comparison result data due to code shifting using the code data. |
