A method of generating power is provided, the method comprising pressurizing a stream of a working fluid to form a pressurized working fluid stream, heating the pressurized working fluid stream, and expanding the heated, pressurized working fluid stream in a turbine to generate the power and exhaust the stream of the working fluid, wherein the heating comprises rotating between combustion heating and solar heating or comprises simultaneous combustion heating and solar heating.
