The system (1) has an adapter (2) comprising a clip (9) that projects from an edge (8a) of a base body (8) in a clamping position (A9) under pretension in a direction of seating. The clip is positioned over a seating part (6) such that a cellular telephone (7) is inserted between a free end (9a) of the clip and the seating part in a holding position (A7). The telephone is secured in the clamping position between the clip and the seating part by pressing the clip on the telephone such that the telephone is held firmly in the holding position even while a vehicle (5) is in operation.
