PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller hearth kiln for the heat treatment of an Li system material free from a phenomenon that a compound of a low melting point falls down even if the heat treatment of the Li system material is performed at a high temperature of 1,030°C or higher. SOLUTION: In this roller hearth kiln where the Li system material is heated by a SiC heater while being conveyed by rollers to be heat-treated at 1,030°C or higher, the SiC heater 8 is disposed only at a lower side with respect to the rollers 2. A SiC system reflection plate 9 is disposed at a lower portion of the SiC heater 8, and an opening ratio between the rollers is preferably 50% or larger. Furthermore, an air supply opening 10 is formed at the bottom of a furnace chamber 7, an exhaust hole 11 is formed at an upper portion of each furnace chamber, and an upward airflow is formed in each furnace chamber 7 including a burning zone to prevent the Li system material from flowing to a lower side with respect to the rollers.
