<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail frame for a framework scaffold, which is relatively easily attached and detached to/from a building frame even by a single person work and is excellent is workability, in the handrail frame to be attached in advance around a scaffold of the top stage when assembling the framework scaffold. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing metal fitting 6 to be fixed to a pier stud B1 of the building frame is provided on both sides of the handrail frame. The fixing metal fitting 6 comprises a roughly U-shaped holding piece 8 capable of holding the pier stud B1 and a lock metal fitting 10 for retaining the pier stud B1, and while through-holes 13a, 13b are perforated so as to insert and dispose the lock metal fitting 10 at free ends 12a, 12b of the holding piece 8, a roughly L-shaped guide hole 14 is perforated on the lock metal fitting 10, and support is performed freely slidably by a lock pin 15 engaged with the guide hole 14.
