PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoration method of an ornament by which a novel design ring and the like can be obtained and the ornament is obtained which does not lose brightness due to abrasion even when a long period of time has passed.SOLUTION: A decoration method of an ornament is provided, which forms a mountain part 5 and a valley part 6 in a bullion of a ring 4, allows a blade 2a of a diamond cutting tool 2 to enter a recessed part which is the valley part 6, moves the blade 2a of the diamond cutting tool 2 along the valley part 6 while using a bottom line of the valley part 6 as a guide, and cuts inclined surfaces 6a of the valley part 6 with the blade 2a of the diamond cutting tool 2. In the method, when moving the blade 2a of the diamond cutting tool 2 along the valley part 6 while using the bottom line of the valley part 6 as a guide, among the inclined surfaces 6a of the valley part 6, only surfaces near the bottom of the valley part 6 are cut by the blade 2a of the diamond cutting tool 2 while leaving surfaces in the upper part. |
