a search condition specifying unit configured to specify a search condition for acquiring an examination order; an examination order acquiring unit configured to acquire the examination order based on the search condition through a network; and an imaging preparation unit configured to determine whether the examination order acquired by the examination order acquiring unit corresponds to an imaging start condition or not, and shift an X-ray detector to an imaging mode in a case where the examination order corresponds to the imaging start condition.
