摘要 Provided is an expanded composite resin bead comprising a styrene resin and a propylene resin. The content of the propylene resin component in the expanded composite resin bead is from 20 to 40% by mass relative to a total of 100% by mass of the styrene resin component and the propylene resin component. In a transmission electron micrograph of a cross-section of a cell wall 1 forming the expanded composite resin bead, disperse phases 3 made of the styrene resin are dispersed in a continuous phase 2 made of the propylene resin. An average value of the maximum diameters of the disperse phases 3 is from 0.01 to 1 μm and a value of ratio of the average value of the maximum diameters to an average value of the minimum diameters of the disperse phases 3 is from 1 to 10.
