PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can greatly save a time to read parameters from a toner cartridge and can reduce processing time so that a user does not have to wait for the completion of the processing.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus that includes a toner cartridge having toner cartridge information including a plurality of parameters and acquires the toner cartridge information to perform predetermined processing, the image forming apparatus storing the operation of the apparatus and the parameters in the toner cartridge information in association with each other, and when a predetermined operation is performed, acquiring a value of the parameter corresponding to the operation from the toner cartridge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
