PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of generating fluorescent light with highly uniform intensity distribution, and a projector.SOLUTION: The luminaire comprises: a light source device emitting first, second and third light beams; an afocal optical system receiving the first, second and third light beams; a first fly-eye lens provided at a subsequent stage of the afocal optical system; a second fly-eye lens provided at a subsequent stage of the first fly-eye lens; a light condensing optical system provided at a subsequent stage of the second fly-eye lens; and a phosphor layer provided at a subsequent stage of the light condensing optical system, and receiving the first light beam, the second light beam, and the third light beam via the light condensing optical system. In the afocal optical system, when R denotes a ratio of a gap between the first light beam and the second light beam to a gap between the first light beam and the third light beam, a ratio R on a light emission side of the afocal optical system has a different value from a ratio R on a light incident side of the afocal optical system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
