PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn winding device capable of drawing a yarn from a yarn storage device by a proper amount when drawing the yarn from the yarn winding device to guide it to a yarn piecing device.SOLUTION: An automatic winder (a yarn winding device) comprises a yarn storage device 19, a yarn piecing device 14, an upper yarn drawing part 18, and a control part. The yarn storage device 19 takes up a yarn 20 by rotation of a storage roller 61 and stores the yarn temporarily. The yarn piecing device 14 pieces a yarn on a yarn feeding bobbin support part side and the yarn 20 on the yarn storage device 19 side, which are segmented. The upper yarn drawing part 18 draws the yarn 20 from the yarn storage device 19 and guides it to the yarn piecing device 14. When the yarn 20 on the yarn storage device 19 side is guided to the yarn piecing device 14, the control part calculates a reverse instruction number, which is the number of times for rotating the storage roller 61 in an opposite direction from a direction of taking-up, and controls the storage roller 61 so that a reverse rotation amount of the storage roller 61 becomes the reverse instruction number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
