PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily perform setting of a recording device based on a result of reading by a reading device.SOLUTION: A recording device 12 includes: a recording part 31 that records information on a roll sheet; a connection part 40 that connects to a bar code reader BR; and a control part 30 that causes the recording part 31 to record information indicating setting items, and when receiving the input of a result of reading from the bar code reader BR after the recording of the information, sets setting values to the setting items on the basis of the input result of reading.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
