PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst capable of purifying effectively nitrogen monoxide contained in exhaust gas discharged from an engine of an automobile or the like, while reducing a used amount of a platinum group metal by using a base metal.SOLUTION: In an exhaust gas purification catalyst, which is an exhaust gas purification catalyst having a copper alloy cluster (CuAl, CuTi, CuV), the copper alloy cluster contains copper atoms, and atoms of an added metal having valency electrons on d orbital or p orbital.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
