PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical housing container which prevents leakage of moisture separated from a gel-like chemical to the outside and can evenly shrink the gel-like chemical, and a chemical volatilization device using the chemical housing container.SOLUTION: A chemical housing container 1 has an end surface part 10 at least at one end and a side surface part 11 rising from a peripheral edge of the end surface part 10, and is used by arranging the end surface part 10 in a perpendicular direction to a horizontal direction to volatilize a gel-like chemical housed in the inside from the other end to the outside. The chemical housing container 1 is formed into a flat shape in which a width of the side surface part 11 is smaller than a width of the end surface part 10.
