PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and oligonucleotides for detecting an internal control nucleic acid for qualitative or quantitative purposes in the field of clinical nucleic acid diagnostics, considering the diversity between different types of nucleic acids such as RNA and DNA, and the diversity of diagnostic targets comprising prokaryotic, eukaryotic as well as viral nucleic acids.SOLUTION: The invention provides: an isolated oligonucleotide with a specified sequence; a composition comprising three oligonucleotides of specified sequences; a kit for detecting a target nucleic acid comprising a detection probe of a specified sequence, a pair of amplification primers of specified sequences, and a control nucleic acid of another specified sequence.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
