PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure appropriate handling by a user and safety of ink which is recovered in a waste liquid tank and is discarded.SOLUTION: When an ink cartridge 34 mounted on a replenishment part 32 is changed between one filled with genuine ink and one filled with general-purpose ink, or between ones filled with different kinds of general-purpose inks, information indicating a composition of the ink recovered in a waste liquid tank 63 is constantly accumulated and updated to include composition information of the ink after a change even if details are unknown, and the information is stored in a built-in memory of a control part 10. When the waste liquid tank 63 is filled with the recovered ink, the accumulated and updated information of the composition of the ink recovered in the waste liquid tank 63 is written in a memory 63b of an IC tag 63a of the waste liquid tank 63 as waste liquid information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
