PURPOSE:To prevent the uneven baking and surface scorch and to uniformize the baking of the baking object by encircling the whole outer circumference of the baking object with far infrared radiation material and heating the object. CONSTITUTION:A baking vessel 1 made of, e.g., far infrared radiation ceramic has an opening 17 having a valve 18 opening and closing by steam pressure and is provided with electric heaters 12a, 12b having decreased watt density at the upper face of the vessel. A baking object (e.g., sweet potato) is put into the baking vessel and baked. Steam and smell are released to the outer atmosphere through the opening to stimulate the appetite for the baking object. |
