PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens that has an anti-vibration lens group having high sensitivity, reduces aberration fluctuation during camera shake correction, and has high optical performance, and an imaging apparatus including the zoom lens.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises, in order from an object side: a positive first lens group G1 being fixed to an image surface during zooming; a negative second lens group G2 moving during zooming; a negative third lens group G3 moving during zooming; a positive fourth lens group G4 moving during zooming; and a positive fifth lens group G5 being fixed to the image surface during zooming. The zoom lens performs zooming by changing all the distances between adjacent lens groups. The fifth lens group G5 includes, in order from the object side, a positive front group, a negative middle group, and a positive rear group. Camera shake correction is performed by moving only the middle group vertically to an optical axis direction.
