PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air intake port arrangement structure for an automobile air intake system that is less likely to suck water from an air cleaner even when traveling on a flooded road, and does not cause a problem of air intake noise by a simple and low-cost structure.SOLUTION: In the structure for arranging an air intake port 13a of an air system 9 for taking air into an engine of an automobile including a closed cross sectional member 8 that defines a closed cross section and extends in a vehicle width direction, the air intake port 13a to the air cleaner 10 is opened in the closed cross sectional member 8 positioned higher than at least a low place part of a side member 2a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
