PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management device by which image data can be created on a scanned document and sent to a plurality of different persons for each document between a document paper sheet for document separation only by putting a quantity of documents interposing the document paper sheets for document separation therebetween into an ADF.SOLUTION: A document management device includes: conveyance means for conveying a bundle of documents set in a document tray to reading means that reads the documents and acquires them as image data; document discrimination means for separation which discriminates a document for separation from the read documents on the basis of the image data which are read and acquired by the reading means; transmission destination discrimination means which discriminates a transmission destination from image data of the documents for separation; and transmission means for transmitting the image data of the documents which are separated by the documents for separation, in the image data to the transmission destination that is discriminated by the transmission destination discrimination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
