PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting device that increases the amount of light irradiated toward the front of the vehicle by guiding light through the interior of a transparent material.SOLUTION: A vehicular lighting device comprises a transparent material 1 by which incident light is light-guided in a lengthwise direction and the guided light is emitted from a light emission surface. The transparent material 1 includes a light reflection surface 11 which opposes a light emission surface 12, and the light reflection surface 11 is provided with an internal reflection step 3 that reflects the guided light toward the light emission surface 12. The internal reflection step 3 includes: first reflection planes 31 and 32 that reflect the guided light in a lengthwise direction of the transparent material 1 and in a direction intersecting the direction connecting the light emission surface and the light reflection surface, respectively; and a second reflection plane 34 that reflects the light reflected by the first reflection planes 31 and 32 toward the light emission surface 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
