A method for manufacturing a vehicle brake disc according to the present invention includes: a first step of filling a mold with a first mixture where a carbon fiber and a phenolic resin are mixed, at a first setting height, in order to make a first friction layer including copper; a second step of filling the mold with a second mixture where the carbon fiber, the phenolic resin and copper powder are mixed, on the first mixture at a second setting height, in order to make a support layer including copper; a third step of filling the mold with a third mixture where the carbon fiber, the phenolic resin and the copper powder are mixed, on the second mixture at a third setting height, in order to make a second friction layer including copper; a fourth step of making a compact by pressurizing the first mixture, the second mixture and the third mixture stacked on the mold in sequence at a time; a fifth step of carbonizing the compact; a sixth step of machining the carbonized compact; a seventh step of melting silicon powder in the machined compact and impregnating the same; and an eighth step of polishing the compact where the silicon powder is impregnated. The method of the present invention can solve shortcomings of thermal deformation and degradation of a pad, a hat part and a caliper and increasing variation of a friction coefficient, as having advantages of the vehicle brake disc made of a carbon fiber reinforced ceramic composite material. |
