A liquid cargo storage tank according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a main tank including a partitioning wall for partitioning a space, and stringers individually connected to inner walls and a partitioning wall of the main tank in a horizontal direction and traversing the main tank. The stringer includes: first members connected the inner walls of the main tank and second members connected to the partitioning wall. The projected length of the first member is longer than the second member to have a cross sectional area larger than the second member. The liquid cargo storage tank according to the present invention changes the shape of the stringer according to a position of the main tank where the stringer is installed like enlarging the cross sectional area of a part of the stringer where a dynamic load of a liquefied gas generates large and reducing the cross sectional area of a part of the stringer where the dynamic load of the liquefied gas generates relatively small. Accordingly, the liquid cargo storage tank is capable of preventing the cross sectional area of the stringer while reducing the sloshing phenomenon, thereby preventing an increase in the whole load of a vessel. |
