A hollow valve for intake and exhaust of an engine is disclosed. The hollow valve for intake and exhaust of an engine, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a head which has a head hollow part; and a stem which has a stem hollow part, thereby improving cooling performance by injecting refrigerants into each of the head and stem hollow parts. The connection part of the head hollow part and the stem hollow part has a refrigerant guide surface for guiding the rising flow of the refrigerants to activate the flow of the refrigerant.
