PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface coating material for hydrophilic treatment that can prevent adhesion/extension and proliferation of cells for the surface of a cell culture vessel and can produce a good three-dimensional cell aggregate, to provide a cell culture vessel coated with the coating material on the surface thereof and to provide a method for producing the cell culture vessel.SOLUTION: A polymer compound is represented by formula as given below and produced by copolymerizing a (meth)acrylate monomer having a phosphocholine group mainly in the side chain and a (meth)acrylate monomer having an azidocinnamoyl group in the side chain. A surface coating material for hydrophilic treatment uses the polymer compound. A molded product coated with a coating material on the surface thereof is produced by coating the molded product with the coating material. A method for producing a molded product comprises subjecting the surface of a vessel to surface coating with the coating material for hydrophilic treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: None
