PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper folding device which can properly fold a sheet regardless of states of the sheet such as rigidity and a curl without providing a guide member or the like that directly interferes with the sheet to be transported on a sheet transporting path.SOLUTION: A paper folding device is configured to enable inward three-folding by determining a second folding position by making a sheet where first folding is performed abut on a second sheet abutting member 26a and by sandwiching a bending part including the folding position by a nip part between a second set of folding rollers (23, 24) to fold and to overlap the sheet. Air blowing means 50 for blowing air to a sheet tip end part Pa, that is folded inwardly by the first folding, from the inside of the bending part at least in folding and overlapping the sheet by sandwiching the bending part at the second folding for performing the inward three-folding is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
