PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate clamp fitting work when a clamp is fittingly attached to a plurality of middle parts of a long material such as a pipe material in a longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: The clamp fitting device to a long material includes a fitting device 7 capable of fitting a clamp 3 for fitting a long material 2 to another member to the middle part of the long material 2 in a longitudinal direction. The fitting device 7 includes a positioning part 9 attached to a stationary side member 8 for working to position the middle part of the long material 3 at a predetermined position, a clamp pusher 10 for pushing the clamp 3 toward the middle part of the long material 2 positioned by the positioning part 9, and fitting the clamp 3 into the middle part of the long material 2 in a pressure-contact state. A plurality of fitting devices 7 is individually provided. The positioning part 9 is detachably attached to the stationary side member 8 so that the fitting devices 7 can be individually changed in position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
