PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a pin terminal which is low cost and superior in corrosion resistance; and a terminal material for manufacturing such a pin terminal.SOLUTION: A pin terminal 1 comprises: a core material 2 made of a Cu-Fe based alloy having chemical components including 10-70 mass% of Fe with the balance consisting of Cu and inevitable impurities. In addition, the pin terminal 1 comprises: a Ni-plated film 3 present on the core material 2; a Cu-plated film 4 present on the Ni-plated film 3; a CuSn alloy layer 5 present on the Cu-plated film 4; and a Sn-plated film 6 present on the CuSn alloy layer 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
