摘要 The present invention relates to a mixed (electron + ion) oxygen and hydrogen separation membrane using a multiple membrane with an overall thickness below several hundred (or several dozens) μm, i.e. a separation membrane with a double or multiple structure for protecting a mixed conductor layer including a mixed conductive oxide which has good separation membrane properties due to use of a doped oxide electrolyte that is thermochemically stable, but is relatively unstable, and to a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the oxygen and hydrogen separation membrane comprises: the mixed conductor layer including the mixed conductive oxide; and an electrolyte protection membrane layer including a stable oxide coated on a mixed conductive oxide layer, wherein the mixed conductive oxide has a structure of ABO_3 (A is at least one element selected from La, Sr, Ba, Ca, Sm, and Y, and B is at least one element selected from Co, Fe, Cr, Mn, Y, Ti, Ni, Cu, and Bi) or A_2BO_4 (A is La or Pr, and B is Ni, Zn, or K2NiF_4), and the stable oxide is at least one element selected from zirconia (ZrO_2), ceria (CeO_2), bismuth oxide (Bi_2O_3), barium strontium cerate, or lanthanum strontium gallium magnesia. Accordingly, the present invention provides the oxygen and hydrogen separation membrane which is thermodynamically stable and has excellent separability.
