The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lumbar support device, which has a feed screw shaft and a slider that contains a female thread part that screws onto the feed screw shaft, and in which the lumbar support position is adjusted via the forward/backward movement of the slider, wherein displacement is not likely to arise between the central axes of the feed screw shaft and a nut member, and said lumbar support device operates smoothly. This lumbar support device contains: a base member fixed to a seat frame; a drive unit fixed to the base member; a screw shaft rotationally driven by the drive unit; a slider that moves linearly by means of the rotation of the screw shaft and contains a female thread part that screws onto the screw shaft; and a mat member, one end part of which is held by the seat frame, and which flexurally deforms when the other end part is pressed, via the slider, toward the one end. The slider is guided and supported by the base member so as to be able to move linearly. |
