PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight material which is excellent in airtightness and/or water tightness, and fire resistance, and which satisfies more physical properties such as flexibility of a tip.SOLUTION: An airtight material includes: a base 1a that contains an airtight material molding resin; and a protrusion 1b that comprises a first part 1c having a thermal-expansion fire-resistant component contained in the airtight material molding resin, and a second part 1d containing the airtight material molding resin and not containing the thermal-expansion fire-resistant component.
