PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an instrument panel that allows the instrument panel, whose part near a front side of a vehicle hangs down when mounting the panel, to be easily mounted on a vehicle body.SOLUTION: An instrument panel 10 is moved to a front side of a vehicle while contacting a lower surface 14A of a shelf part 14 of the instrument panel 10 with an upper surface 31A of an upper wall 31 of a bracket 30, so that a panel engagement part 15 is guided to a flange part 27. The panel engagement part 15 is engaged with the flange part 27, so that the instrument panel 10 is locked to a vehicle body 20. The shelf part 14 has on the lower surface 14A thereof a protruding part 17 shaped to protrude toward a lower side of the vehicle. The bracket 30 has an inclined wall 34 that contacts the protruding part 17 during movement of the instrument panel 10 to the front side of the vehicle. The inclined wall 34 is so shaped that the instrument panel 10 is further raised toward an upper side of the vehicle as the panel 10 positioned closer to the front side of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
