Provided is a heat-concentrating pipe that efficiently absorbs visible light and converts said light to thermal energy, and reduces the amount of said thermal energy that is radiated as infrared light. This heat-concentrating pipe (10) is used for concentrated solar power, wherein sunlight is concentrated using reflecting mirrors, the concentrated light is converted to heat by a heat collector provided with the heat-concentrating pipe, and the heat is used to generate power. The heat-concentrating pipe (10) is characterized by comprising a body (20) that accommodates a heat transfer medium, a visible light high-absorbency/infrared light low-absorbency layer (30) formed on the outside of the body (20), wherein: the visible light high-absorbency/infrared light low-absorbency layer (30) has an absorptance of at least 90% in the 500-800 nm wavelength range, and has an absorptance of less than 90% across the entire wavelength range of 1,500-10,000 nm; and the visible light high-absorbency/infrared light low-absorbency layer (30) contains copper oxide. |
