The present invention relates to a continuous variable valve duration apparatus which varies the opening and closing duration of a valve. The continuous variable valve duration apparatus, according to the present invention, comprises: a cam shaft; a slider which is installed in the cam shaft and has a cam shaft sliding key; a cam part which has a cam and a cam sliding key and allows the cam shaft to be inserted thereinto, and of which the relative phase of the cam can be varied; a roller ring which is connected to the cam shaft sliding key and the cam sliding key; a roller ring guide part which allows the roller ring to be inserted thereinto to be rotated and is inserted into a cylinder head to be slid; and a control part which controls the center position of the roller ring by moving the roller ring guide part.
