PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of deliciously cooking heating objects by sufficiently heating the whole of the heating objects.SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a pot-like container for storing heating objects; a body having an open upper face for storing the pot-like container in the inside thereof; a lid body for openably/closably covering the opening of the upper face of the body; and heating means for heating the pot-like container. Further the pot-like container has a Hagama-like (an old rice-cooking pot with a flange) shape including a flange on an outer peripheral side face. The flange is provided on a lower side than an upper end of the pot-like container. A distance between an upper part located on an upper side of the flange of the pot-like container and a part of the body or the lid body, facing the upper part is equal to or more than the length of a protrusion of the flange from the outer peripheral side face of the pot-like container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
