1. A liquid crystal composition comprising an additive of chemical formula 1: wherein R1 and R2 are each independently an alkyl having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, a hydrogen, a halogen or a cyano, respectively, and one or two nonadjacent CH2 groups may be replaced by —O—, —CH═CH—, —CO—, —OCO— or —COO—, wherein an oxygen atom is not directly connected to another oxygen atom, wherein A1, A2, A3, and A4 are each independently: wherein one, two, or three radicals of A1, A2, A3 and A4 are each independently: wherein L1 to L4 are each independently —H, —F, —Cl, —OCF3, —CF3, —CH2F, or —CHF2, and wherein Z1, Z2 and Z3 are each independently —COO—, —OCO—, —CF2O—, —OCF2—, —CH2O, —OCH2—, —SCH2—, —CH2S—, —CH2CH2—, —C2F4—, —CH2—CF2—, —CF2CH2—, —(CH2)z-, —CH═CH—, —CF═CF—, —CH═CF—, —CF═CH—, —C═C—, —CH═CHCH2O—, or a single bond, and wherein when m=O, Z1 and Z2 do not represent a single bond at the same time, z is 3, 4, 5, or 6, and m is 0 or 1. |
