A run-flat tire (1) is provided with a tread section (2), a sidewall section (3), a bead section (4), side-reinforcing rubber (5) having a crescent-shaped cross section, and a carcass (6). When the tire (1) is incorporated into a rim and the internal pressure thereof is set to 250 kPa or more, the ratio SW/OD of the cross-sectional width SW and the outer diameter OD of the tire (1) is 0.26 or less when the cross-sectional width SW of the tire (1) is less than 165 (mm), and the cross-sectional width SW and the outer diameter OD of the tire (1) satisfy the relational expression OD ≥ 2.135 × SW + 282.3 (mm) when the cross-sectional width SW of the tire (1) is 165 (mm) or more. When the maximum length of the side-reinforcing rubber (5) in the radial direction of the tire (1) in a cross-section of said tire (1) in the width direction thereof while in a reference state in which the tire (1) is incorporated into a rim, filled to a predetermined internal pressure, and does not have a load thereon is denoted by H1, the relational expression 10 (mm) ≤ (SW/OD) × H1 ≤ 20 (mm) is satisfied. |
