Provided is a valve device that does not use an electromagnetic actuator, making it possible to reduce the size of the device and operate same with reduced power consumption. The driven valve body (1) is configured by gluing a rubber plate (12) to a special carbon element (11). The driven valve body (1) is disposed facing a first valve seat (10a). Voltage is applied on conductive thin film layers (11A, 11C), which hold an electrolyte film (11B) of the special carbon element (11) therebetween, to bend the driven valve body (1), separate the rubber plate (12) from the first valve seat (10a) and open the valve. By not applying voltage, the driven valve body (1) is flattened to seat the rubber plate (12) on the first valve seat (10a) and close the valve. The driven valve body (1) is driven by a DC 4-20 mA analog signal wire. |
