PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device capable of forming an image having less color mixture and excellent definition and glossiness by using a photocurable ink composition with respect to a recording medium.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device 100 comprises: a head 10 discharging droplets of a photocurable ink composition from nozzle holes 12 and attaching the droplets to a recording medium while being moved in a first direction; and light sources 20 being moved together with the head 10, being individually disposed at both end sides of the head 10 in the first direction and irradiating light to the droplets attached to the recording medium. The light sources 20 have protrusion portions 20A disposed so as to protrude closer to one sides in a second direction than the nozzle holes 12 positioned at one side end in the second direction intersecting with the first direction, moves the head 10, subsequently moves the recording medium to one side in the second direction by a unit distance only, and subsequently performs operation moving the head 10 in an opposite direction to the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
