Provided is a liquid crystal display device, comprising a liquid crystal panel (1) and a collimated light-emitting backlight module (3); the liquid crystal panel (1) comprises a color filter substrate (11), an array substrate (13), and a liquid crystal layer (12); the upper surface of the color filter substrate (11) is provided with an upper polarizer (15), and the lower surface of the array substrate (13) is provided with a lower polarizer (17); the collimated light-emitting backlight module (3) comprises a light guide plate (31), a backlight (33), an optical film assembly (35), and a bottom reflective plate (37); the upper polarizer (15) is provided with a viewing angle diffusion film (19), and the optical film assembly (35) comprises a birefringent polarizing film (351), which is capable of separating the polarized light. The liquid crystal display device has significantly improved light transmittance and light output efficiency, and effectively solves the problem of color shift at wide viewing angles. |
