PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compost suitable for paddy rice organic cultivation which is capable of preventing weed growth in rice paddies without using a chemical agent or a mechanical weeder.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of compost is a method in which a compost raw material A mainly containing organic materials and decomposing bacteria D which decomposes the compost raw material A are mixed, the compost raw material A mixed with the decomposing bacteria D is decomposed to obtain compost. The method comprises a crushing process 10 of crushing the compost raw material A before executing the mixing process, and a mixing, agitating and air-supplying process 11 comprises: a step of laying woody granules B on a floor surface of a mixing chamber having a blower device; a step of mounting the compost raw material A crushed in the crushing process 10 and the aerobic decomposing bacteria D on the woody granules B; a step 12 of mixing the woody granules B, the compost raw material A and the decomposing bacteria D by traveling agitation means while air is supplied, the compost raw material A is decomposed and matured to obtain compost.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
